Becoming a member is the best way to get more involved with our theatre group. We're always looking for more people to join our growing and enthusiastic team of members.

 

Not only do you get discounted ticket prices, insurance cover at the venue and the newsletter, but you also get invitations to our special events.

 

STG holds member events (including our annual program launch), as well as the occasional working bee for those who are more hands on. STG also runs the occasional workshops for those who would like to start learning or learn more about acting, directing, lighting/sound, set design/construction, and whatever else there is demand for.  Members are also welcome to volunteer at the theatre.  Be that in a show, front of house (bar, usher or box office), or behind the scenes (lighting, set design,stage management, etc). 

 

Financial members are also entitled to vote for the following year's committee at the AGM (Annual General Meeting). If you have some special skills (management, marketing, artistic, technical, etc.) or are just keen to be part of the team that helps STG reach its full potential, then we strongly encourage you to run for a place on our committee. Nominations for committee must be submitted before the AGM.  If you feel you are not ready to join the committee just yet, then members are also welcome to attend our General Meetings, where you can contribute your thoughts or ideas during our discussions.

Annual membership in Sunnybank Theatre Group is for 1 or 3 years from the date joined and applications/payment is made though our ticketing system, TicketSearch. You can tell us in your application if you would like to get involved more actively at the theatre!

All members must agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and abide by the constitution and bylaws of the theatre.

 

APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP (ONLINE)

 

Simply click on the relevant link below to create a profile with us (you may already have one if you have bought tickets with us before!) and purchase a membership.  You will be asked some simple membership questions and then your application will be submitted.  Note - every member requires their own profile in Ticketsearch so just use your own profile to buy your own membership and create separate profiles for friends/family members.  The Management Committee will review your application at the next committee meeting (usually monthly) and you will be notified of the outcome.  We very much look forward to welcoming you to the STG Family!
